1.13. Configurazioni di compatibilità per l'accesso a share SMB da S.O. MS Windows

Per poter accedere usando i protocolli CIFS/SMB (da sistemi operativi MS Windows 7 e Vista) alle proprie home web ospitate su sistemi Linux è necessario applicare la procedura che segue.

• 1.  Open the Run command and type "secpol.msc".

• 2.  Press "continue" when prompted by the system.

• 3.  Click on "Local Policies" ==> "Security Options"

• 4.  Navigate to the policy "Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level" and open it.

• 5.  By default MS Windows Vista sets the policy to "NTVLM2 responses only". Change this to "LM and NTLM - use NTLMV2 session security if negotiated".

• 6.  Open the Run command and type "gpupdate /force"
