Lorenzo Leonardini, a master’s student in our Department, will be the captain of Team Italy at the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC 2025).
From 6 to 9 October, he will lead the national team in Warsaw, Poland, in Europe’s leading ethical hacking competition, organised by ENISA, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity.

The challenge consists of two tests: a classic Jeopardy-style Capture the Flag and an attack and defence competition, where team organisation counts as much as technical skills.

The aim of the European Cybersecurity Challenge is to discover and promote the best young cybersecurity talents in Europe, creating opportunities for them to meet universities, companies and institutions in the sector.

Every year, in a different country, national teams made up of ten girls and boys aged between 14 and 25 take part: the best talents in cybersecurity.
