From November 21 to 24, Pisa celebrates Leonardo Fibonacci, the mathematician who introduced Arabic numerals to Europe. The event coincides with Fibonacci Day, on November 23 (11/23 in the English date format, recalling the start of the famous Fibonacci sequence).
Promoted by the City of Pisa, the program features a variety of events, including activities organized in collaboration with the University of Pisa and faculty members from the Department of Computer Science.
